Damascus Nakiri with "Too Orange" Wa Handle
Designed to take down veggies, this style of Nakiri has become our favorite all around knife in the kitchen. This one, made with Damasteel, is a full-flat grind that has been shaped by hand and finish sanded to 1200 grit. The blade was then repeatedly etched and polished etched to expose the Vinland pattern.
Cutting edge on this one is 153mm / 6". The spine is a thin 1.1mm out of the handle.
The shaped and tapered Wa style handle is made from an orange colored custom composite similar to Micarta. Gray G10 has been used for the spacer.
The wooden saya cover has been made specifically for this knife and has been wrapped with a patterned paper.
