This high-carbon Chef's knife is hand-forged from 52100 round bar. Below the fore finish the blade is hand-sanded to satin finish. The handle is made from Buckeye Burl and Black Paper Micarta.

Note: The patina on a high-carbon knife is truly beautiful and unique, much like a snowflake—no two are alike. It's a sign of a well-used, well-loved knife. Over time, the blade will develop a natural patina and darken with use. However, be aware that it may stain if acidic food residue isn't promptly removed. Find care instructions here.
