High Carbon Chefs | Orange 001

This chef’s knife is hand-forged from high-carbon 89crV2 steel. It features a full tang that is hollowed and tapered to reduce weight while maintaining balance between blade and handle. The surface is carefully hand-sanded to 600 grit, producing a refined satin finish. Both the spine and heel are rounded for comfort. The brightly colored handle uses a distinctive resin and rubber compound that offers a remarkably comfortable feel.

Note: The patina on a high-carbon knife is truly beautiful and unique, much like a snowflake—no two are alike. It's a sign of a well-used, well-loved knife. Over time, the blade will develop a natural patina and darken with use. However, be aware that it may stain if acidic food residue isn't promptly removed. Find care instructions here.
