High-Carbon Veggie Cleaver / Maple

Thin, light and quick, this 280mm cleaver is made from 1095 steel .The blade is hand saned to a soft satin finish.  The handle is made from Maple Burl, layerd copper and composit and copper pins.

Note: The patina that develops on a high-carbon knife is truly beautiful and unique, much like a snowflake—no two are alike. It's a sign of a well-used, well-loved knife. Over time, the blade will develop a natural patina and darken with use. However, be aware that it may stain if acidic food residue isn't promptly removed. Find care instructions here.
